DREAMING IN COLOR BIO

Having just graduated high school, Chris Fedun is the eldest member of Jump5 at 18 years old (somebody get him a walking cane). An avid athlete, he’s become known as the group’s daredevil, willing to try just about anything when it comes to new acrobatic flips or choreography. Aside from voice, piano and guitar lessons growing up, Chris also excelled at gymnastics, as well as jazz, tap, ballet and hip-hop dancing. And it shows! When he’s not out on the road Chris loves going on family vacations, watching movies with his friends, bowling and playing miniature golf. “I’ve also been taking some acting classes. I’d like to do more of that in the future.” Brad Pitt, watch out!

ACCELERATE BIO

As the elder statesman of Jump5 at the ripe old age of 17, Chris Fedun says what he means and means what he says. Truth be told, Chris is an avid athlete and an accomplished performer who paid his dues studying voice, piano, guitar, and gymnastics, as well as jazz, tap, ballet and hip hop dancing. If you ask him what has amazed him the most about being in Jump5, he's quick to tell you that it's what happens after the music: "It's mind-blowing to talk to fans or read their letters...When a parent says, 'Your music helped me put my life back together,' it just makes me feel so blessed to be a small part of something that can encourage people." As for future plans, Chris is headed toward high school graduation and then on to studying drama and acting. No surprise there. Those who know him best, like his Jump5 pals, figure he'll be commanding a stage somewhere even when he's 70.

ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD BIO

Most teens have a streak of fearlessness, but Jump5's Chris Fedun is especially daring. "Chris isn't afraid to try anything," says group-mate Libby. "He's the major gymnast in the group, and he doesn't even stretch!" Chris started playing sports when he was five, later switching gears after a memorable taste of the entertainment world. "I was on stage once at Opryland USA," he recalls. "That's where I realized I like getting in front of a crowd and seeing people smile." He studied voice, piano, guitar, and gymnastics, as well as jazz, tap, ballet and hip hop dancing. As for being in Jump5, Chris feels blessed every day. "We're really positive kids," he says. "We think anyone can listen to our music and get something out of it." In school, Chris excels in History. He also loves the recording studio, and hopes to expand into songwriting and production someday. For now he's content with the hectic pace of the group's schedule. "This is normal life for me," he laughs."

"Chris isn't afraid to try anything," raves his group-mate Libby. "He's the major tumbler, and he doesn't even need to stretch out!" With natural athletic ability on his side, Chris started playing sports when he was only 5. Ironically, it was baseball that led him to ditch his dreams of being in the major leagues and take up singing, dancing and gymnastics. "When I was 9, I used to do back flips in the outfield because no one ever hit the ball to me," he laughs. Only a year later, he was onstage at Opryland USA, where he discovered his real love. "I like getting in front of a crowd and seeing people smile," he says, adding, "My major obstacle is proving to people that good dancers can sing, because I love to do both." One thing he doesn't have to prove is that he's a nice guy. "Chris clicks with you when you first see him," Brittany dishes. Unfortunately, his girl group-mates are more understanding than most. "I learned fast that girls get mad if you don't call them back," he smiles, "and they don't like busy schedules."
